Loved playing this! Probably the most scared I've been of any horror games I've played recently. I turned down the jumpscares a bit for the video since they were super loud, but I highly recommend this game--made my friends try it too. I didn't make it super far because I was too spooked but it's a great concept and executed well!
So happy to hear that you enjoyed the game so much! Thank you so much also for the video on YT it was a pleasure to watch ๐
Also thanks to many suggestions we received on social I'm applying several changes to the game to make it better, so stay tuned for an update that will hopefully make the game more engaging and terrifying
Medieval style creepy horror game done with an exceptional taste in jump scares and very immersive environment! This was a blast.
I really enjoyed playing the demo. It did remind me of the older games with interesting plots and tense atmosphere - this was well executed. The controls were great, the visual style - very impressive. My only complaint was the lack of story and overall direction. Nevertheless, superb demo.
Wish all the best with the future developments. Cheers!
Thank you for the incredible review! it's great to know that it was so much appreciated. I'm already working on something to improve the whole experience, and I look forward to updating the demo
There is a feature that helps you pass levels that you have previously completed, but from the video you uploaded I realized that it is not clearly visible to the player. When you die and start the game again, ghost feet appear and guide the player to the exit. The feet will accompany you to the last level passed (e.g., if you passed the first three levels and on the fourth level you die, the feet will be available until the third level). I am already modifying the code to make sure this feature is clearly visible from the first time.
I preferred this solution to the autosave one to emphasize in-game death. If you get a chance to try the demo again let me know if you like the effect and if you think it can replace autosave ๐

Thanks for playing and also for the video! any advice is welcome ;)
Thank you for the game! An autosave to each floor would be helpful.
